Healthy Handles are simple by design. They consist of two identical clamps and two identical “L” shaped handlebars. There are no “right” or “left” parts. The clamps are intended to be fastened to the exposed area of the parallel bars of the existing stroller that feed into the existing (straight across) handle bar.

  • DO NOT attempt to install the clamp to any non-metallic surface covering the bars (e.g., plastic, vinyl, rubber, or fabric).
  • Install Healthy Handles with the adjustable knob on the outside of the stroller’s parallel bars, and line them up in such a way that the Healthy Handles telescope up and down along the same plane as the existing stroller frame.
  • Once installed correctly, the handles are simple to use and stow when not in use.
  • See Video Installation and/or refer to the instructions included with your product.

TIPS:

  • Watch the Video above to the very end to see a "shortcut" that makes installation on a BOB easier and gives more room to use the Allen wrench.
  • With the clamps loose, adjust the bars to your desired position and tighten the knob. Tightening the knobs as hard as you can could potentially cause the knobs to be difficult to loosen.  If your knob sticks or gets difficult to tighten or loosen, completely remove the knob from the clamp (careful to keep the washer) and lightly apply Vaseline, WD40, or comparable lubricant to the end threads of the stud projecting from the knob.
  • HEALTHYHANDLES.COM is laser etched along the outside of the long arm of the handlebars for a useful reason. Set one bar to where you like it, and then adjust the other bar to the same location by noting the clamp’s position with respect to a letter in HEALTHYHANDLES.COM. Remember “your letter” and where it aligns on the clamp.
